Ally Pally Road Race
Show, which was great for buying stuff. Ran TZ at Long Marston to run engine in, Superb ! First ever track experience at Mallory Park 21/2/97. Excellent fun ! |

as No. 17. Had fun in Novice race. Second test day at Mallory, got under a 1:00 lap. 2nd Race, Mallory New Era, New Tyres. Piston Rings broke up Raced at Cadwell, got 3rd in Forgotten Era. |

first time. Crank seized at Esses, Highsided. Got it on Video, my first
racing crash ! Thanks Russ ! Russ bought me LC350 to keep me on track during TZ Rebuild. |

(no fairing) and LC ! Race at Snetterton, LC only. TZ getting Blue/Yellow paint job. Did Ron Haslam CBR600 Race School at Donington. Goof Fun. Race at Oulton Park, LC only Last Novice Race ! V.hot weather. |

Put Avon tyres on
LC350, Excellent ! Raced at Cadwell LC & TZ. TZ broke front engine mounting off the YPVS cases, rebuilt with spare LC cases. Race "13" at Mallory, LC was OK, but highsided TZ at Bus Stop. Output shaft oil seal blew ! New leathers and paint job in progress. Bought new trailer, rebuilt LC350, rings etc. Raced at Brands Hatch, LC & TZ OK. Got Star letter in MCN and Anglia TV invited me onto television ! |

Raced at Oulton Park,
roasting hot ! TZ gets new Red and White paint job to match new leathers. LC350 got over sized rebore kit more more power ! Raced at Snetterton in new paint job and leathers, ran LC350 in. |

Lady Di's funeral
shortened a weekend at Cadwell. Both bikes ran perfectly. Made MCN results page ! Raced at Brands Hatch, both bikes running well. Met Nick and Pete running Black VFR750 ! Ooh That's Nice ! |

Entered First ever
"AQUA BIKE" at NEC. AR125
"Kawasinki" Raced both bikes at Mallory Park, TZ misfiring, ignition failing. Sold Russ's LC350 to get some of his money back. Thanks Russ. Appeared on "CRIMEWATCH" in Brands Scrutineering bay ! Raced at Mallory Park, last time, TZ Ran beautifully, Best ever. Sold it there and then to "TZ's" for £1100. Re-paid Chris his loan. Finished up 3rd overall in Forgotten Era class , in my first season ! |

Aqua Bike taking
shape. Water barrels from Jaguar, wet suit from Chris, Bike from Holt
MC's. Stuck the lot in Lake at NEC, wet ignition, stalled, so capsized
it for fun. I won "King Bodger" award for back tyre
"Paddle" with tennis balls. Heard about Fred Merkel VFR750 for sale from collector..... Met Joey Dunlop at NEC show, his advice on Manx GP ? "Go Slow!". Thanks Joey. Met VFR Owners Club at Show, interested in VFR750 if I race it. |
