Diary RSV

	Bought RSV 1000 – Ex Mark Philips British Superstock Machine. Bandit plus 300 quid. Many Thanks to FRETTONS for the Bandit ! Did Ally Pally Show, rustled up a few new sponsors. Talon and R&G. Got new bodywork from VIMORI Racing. Gorgeous.
	Rebuilding RSV from the ground up, bodywork, custom stickers from Design-a-Graphic, Talon Sprockets & scrubbed race tyres for testing.
	Wednesday Mallory test, drizzly & damp, running well. Hips aching ! First race, Mallory Spring Cup, it snowed, brilliant fun, wets all day ! Round 1 of RSV Cup, Mallory Race of the Year. 3 riders disqualified ! I jumped the start, 10 sec penalty, dropped a place !
	Testing and Racing at Silverstone for first time. One dry & one wet race! Had a flat and blew some RSV fuses. Got spare pair of wheels with help from Chatwin consulting. Ace ! Raced at Oulton Park, Excellent race ! Raced at Snetterton, clutch slipping badly !
	Found tight tappets on RSV, got a spare motor fitted. loads o' dosh! Raced at Combe for first time, bumpy or what. New motor is brilliant ! Showed up chassis and steering dampers ! Shock at Manx Cat for Rebuild, and it needed it badly !
	Race at Thruxton, great punch up 6 way bikes start to finish. Raced at Mallory Post TT, to test rebuilt shock. Excellent Job Dave !
	Went to Belgium with www.Sidecarmonkeys.co.uk as pit crew. Went to Canada Heights with them too. What a different world ! Put Bikes on display at Frettons "Open Day"
	Put Bikes on Display at Manx Cat "Open Day" Raced at Cadwell, did Saturday Bemsee club race too Red Flag city ! Blistering hot weather, What an ace track on a big bike !
	Raced at Snetterton Bemsee Saturday club meeting for a bit of fun. Sunday Races, getting blown away on straights ! Rain saved my bacon. Raced at Mallory, in Powerbike for track time. Beat personal best !
	Raced at Lydden for first time, a tiny track, RSV's the only big bikes. Raced at Brands Hatch, last race of season. Had a great time. Sold RSV, Sold Caravan, drove home empty and sad. Boo Hoo.
	Wrote off my VFR800 road bike, bugger. Tidied up garage, no bikes ! My Racing leathers were on display at NEC Bike Show on JTS Stand. Had a good PRESS DAY at Show.
	Bought a couple of new bikes to cheer myself up, Dominator NX650 for messing about and VFR800 Anniversary for best. It isn't working though, I'm pissed off at the thought of giving up the sport that has kept me sane (?) for the past 5 years........ watch this space.
